Morning Person

It’s been 9/365 days in 2025, and I’m unable to speak confidently and haven’t made much progress in life. I don’t think the new year could change my life, but it’s already been 6 months since I graduated, and I still don’t have consistency.

So, let’s break down what I need to do to get back on track:

1. Set up an ideal daily routine.

2. Start writing.

Routine

After a few weeks of living and working from home, I feel that working in the morning is so much better than working at night.

Two days ago, I got a project from my best and first client from my freelance journey. I was so excited that he called me because he’s one of the most humble people I’ve met. The minute after answering the phone, he said, “Entra yedava, job vadilesemundhu okka maata cheppali ani telidha?”

Somehow, I changed the topic with him, and he sent me a project that needed to be edited and sent before the morning. I said, “Okay, I will send it by 11 PM,” which is my usual time. After that call, I worked on other projects and got a little tired. It was already 11 PM, so I decided to skip this project and make an excuse to manage that bro and go to sleep.

But my mind kept thinking about that project I needed to submit, so I decided to get up early in the morning. As planned, I woke up at 4 AM with a lot of struggle, but there was only one thing running through my mind: to finish that project and submit it 🙂.

Anyhow, I started the project and got even more interested in completing the work with more creative ideas. I finally finished my work, and the day felt very long for me. At 6 AM, I had finished the work and completed all my chores. I even finished so many pending tasks that I had been delaying for weeks.

It was actually a super productive day for me.

At this point in my life, I’ve decided to become a morning person. I also want to read more books to understand humans, as humans are the most complex creatures in the world.

Being productive is different from feeling productive. It’s like how thinking about passion is different from working on passion. Recently, I came across a different meaning of passion (which I’ll talk about later). While reading Jay Shetty’s book, I came across so many concepts about solitude. Solitude is something that helps you understand your inner self—who you really are, without your name.

I’m practicing daily journaling, which helps me stay connected to my goals and the problems I need to figure out.
